Decided and done – the 2025 annual meeting

Jönköping Student Union has held its annual meeting and decided who will represent Jönköping University's (JU's) students in the coming year.

The Annual Meeting of the Jönköping Student Union is officially concluded! Over the course of two days, students from all faculties have voted on the operational year 2025/2026 for JSU. Decisions have been made regarding what JSU will work on and who will represent Jönköping University's (JU's) students in the upcoming year.

On the second day of the meeting, votes were cast to decide who will lead JSU forward next year in the roles of President and Vice President. The students placed their trust in Yaman Zaidan and Arne Johansson for these roles!

Student Representatives

Student representatives for the JSU Board have also been elected. Four board members were chosen, along with one alumni and one Operations Controller. In the Nomination Committee, two people have been elected.

This means that one board member position, one Operations Controller position, and x positions in the Nomination Committee remain vacant. These will be filled in a by-election, starting next week.

Other Matters

In addition, the Annual Meeting approved a Plan of Operations for the coming year, thereby setting JSU’s direction moving forward, and the budget for the operational year has been approved.
