Information regarding increased national threat level
The Swedish Security Service has raised the terror threat level from three to four on a five-point scale. This is being considered both internally at Jönköping University (JU) and within the higher education sector, among presidents, university directors and security officers.

Student Welcome Fair
On friday 25 August, you are welcome to attend the Student Welcome Fair at Campus Arena between 11:00-13:00. The fair is aimed at new students, however, students who have been at JU for a while can also attend to learn more about our activities.

Remember to register for your courses
Before each semester, you as a student at Jönköping University must register for your courses online to confirm which courses you will attend. Registration is required, among other things, to be able to certify that you are a student, receive study grants from CSN, update your JU card, and to gain access to courses in Canvas.

Text message service now available at JU
In situations of emergency at JU, either in a building or on campus, where there is danger to life or health, it is important to be able to reach out with information quickly to the people concerned. JU has acquired a text message service to be able to send out information to staff and students. This is due to both the world situation and JU’s overall continuity plan.

Order parking permits for September
On Friday, August 25th, the Service Center will start selling parking permits for September. The parking permits are only offered for sale at the Service Center.
