Jönköping has been named in a list of Sweden’s top student cities for the first time. Jönköping takes home fifth place after 1,100 prospective students had their say on what their priorities were for a place of study. Jönköping University (JU) has participated in a study on gender-based vulnerability and sexual harassment in academia. The study was conducted at universities in Sweden in the spring of 2021 and is the first of its kind in Sweden. Felizia Wikner-Zienkiewicz is a third-year student on the Prosthetics and Orthotics programme at the School of Health and Welfare. She’s in China's capital Beijing, representing Sweden at the Olympics in the women’s national ice hockey team.
