Accommodation

JU accommodation is available to those who wish to utilize it, as it can be cheaper and easier than finding private accommodation. You will receive more detailed information about JU accommodation after you have been admitted to the Summer School.

The University does not have on-campus accommodation, however off-campus housing is offered, which is a 20-30 minute bus ride away.

The accommodation consists of a single furnished room, with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities and a common social area. Communal laundry facilities are included.

The accommodation cost is likely to be between 4000 - 5000 SEK approx. per month.

Pick-up Service

If you opt to stay in JU student accommodation you can make use of the 'pick-up service'. This service will run on Sunday 31st May 2026, from 12:00pm - 6:00pm. The meeting point is next to 'Pressbyrån' (convenience store) at Jönköping Resecentrum (train station). A member of JU staff will be there to collect you, handle the keys/contract and drive you directly to your student accommodation. They will arrive at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm, and if possible, will try to do extra rounds in between. If you arrive after the pick-up service has ended, you will be required to stay in a hotel/hostel/private accommodation for the night at your own personal cost. You can collect your keys on campus the following day.

 

The deadline to inform us if you would like JU student accommodation is 30th April 2026, after which you will be required to organize your own private accommodation
