For the fifth year in a row, JU's schools, the School of Health and Welfare, the School of Education and Communication, the School of Engineering, and Jönköping University Enterprise (JUE) have collected nominations for Alumnus of the Year. Jönköping International Business School will not be nominating anyone for the award this year but looks forward to returning in future rounds. The respective management teams have then agreed on an alumnus (former student) who meets the criteria and who will receive the award during the ceremony on 2 October.

“The four award winners this year are not only inspiring role models for current and future JU students – they are also strong ambassadors who deepen the ties between JU and society, both regionally, nationally and internationally. With this award, we recognise and honour alumni who have made exceptional contributions, either in their professional roles or as private individuals. I am very proud of this year's four award winners – each of them is a brilliant representative of JU, says Salem Seifeddine,” Executive Vice President at JU.

The ceremony

Salem Seifeddine will moderate the ceremony. A representative from each school will read the motivation and award the prize to “their” alumnus. This will be followed by a panel discussion led by Andreas Torén, Head of Student Counselling, where the alumni will talk about their experiences at the university, their professional lives, and give some tips to current students. The audience can also ask questions to the alumni.

JU welcomes everyone to the ceremony.
