Lucia conducts research in the field of service marketing and retailing with a focus on digitalization. Within the main area of service, her research consists of two complementary streams. The first stream is related to retailing and the use of digital tools to shift from a product to a service-oriented offer and how they can represent a valid and useful solution that retailers can adopt in response to the new consumers’ habits. In the second research stream, the tourism and hospitality fields are considered with particular attention to the themes of digitalization and sustainability to investigate how technological innovations influence consumers’ behaviour towards sustainable practices and brands.
