Carla's research focuses on sustainable operations management, particularly in the Industry 4.0 context, operations strategy, and organizational digital readiness. The main theoretical areas include operations management, maturity models, sustainable operations and supply chain management, and digital transformation. Carla’s research projects are typically collaborative in nature, currently, she is engaged as a researcher in Supply Chain Management Group at JIBS and in the Smart PM Project - the project is expected to contribute to increased automation in management of production.
