New Book Chapter by MMTC's Darko Pantelic Highlights Eight Years of Community-Engaged Learning

MMTC member Darko Pantelic has authored a chapter in the newly released volume Practical Applications of Experiential and Community-Engaged Learning Methods in Business, published by Edward Elgar.
Titled “Designing an International Marketing Course: The Multicultural Classroom as an Asset in Community-Engaged Learning”, the chapter draws on eight years of experience running over 100 real client-based projects through the Applied International Marketing (AIM) course at Jönköping International Business School.
The chapter presents AIM as a model Community-Engaged Learning (CEL) course. It outlines:
- The pedagogical foundations of CEL applied in the AIM course
- The course design and delivery process in a multicultural classroom
- Reflections from students, instructors, and company partners
- A practical blueprint for educators aiming to embed CEL in business education
The chapter shows how collaborative, multicultural learning environments can become assets in solving real-world business challenges while building intercultural competence and community value.
